Everyone knows what church is all about, right?

Church is where you go on Sunday morning, and
they read from this weird old book, they sing
songs you’ve never heard, and they sit and watch
as some guy you’ve never met tells you how to live your life.

What if church was more like a forum; A place where every voice was of equal value, where the agenda was set by whomever is in the room?

We’re hoping to make a place like this in Andover called
The Forum Project.

Yes, we’ll read the Bible, but in a way that shows how similar our lives actually are to the ones described in its pages. Yes, there will be music, but it will be a fusion of old and new, a cross between what you hear on the radio and what monks have been singing for centuries. Yes, people will be talking to you, but we want to hear from you, too.

That’s why we’re calling this new experiment in worship The Forum Project, and everyone is welcome to get involved in the exciting work that we’re planning for this fall.
